KITCHEN STAFF

HEAD CHEF CHINA DINER DOUBLE BAY

We are on the lookout for a talented Chef to oversee our Double Bay venue, with the capacity to grow with our brand. Asian cooking experience is essential with a preference for knowledge in Cantonese recipes.

Communication, organisation and planning skills are crucial as management of labour costs, team productivity and achieving targeted food costs will be a priority in your role.  

Attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head or Sous Chef
  • A natural ability to inspire, encourage and lead a team of 10+ chefs
  • Confident communication skills between FOH & BOH
  • Experience in production kitchens, food distribution and transport desired 
  • Experience in running routine systems and processes for rostering, ordering, HACCP, logistics, supplier negotiation and audits
  • Must be eligible to work full time in Australia
